35 hours per week (flexible)
Salary: Grade 5 £19,822 - £22,971
The University College is looking to appoint a Sport and Health Science Officer. The postholder is responsible for the day-to-day organisation, maintenance and development of the laboratory in conjunction with the Head of Department. The post also includes supporting staff and students in research projects, delivering sport & health science support to a wide range of clients, promoting the sport & health science facility and undertaking income generation activities as appropriate.
You should hold a first degree in a related area, have a good fundamental working knowledge of equipment, protocols and data analysis packages in the Sport & Health science disciplines of physiology, psychology and technique analysis, with practical and laboratory accreditation criteria. A working knowledge of a sports therapy clinic environment would also be advantageous.
