NHS Kingston is seeking to appoint a programme co-ordinator for our reputable Get Active Exercise Referral Programme. The post will be based in the public health department and the successful candidate will join a committed and passionate team to manage Get Active and support other lifestyle programmes as a key part of our drive on healthy lifestyles. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and self motivated professional with excellent planning, communication and administration skills to ensure effective and efficient co-ordination of all operational aspects of the programme.
The post holder should have proven knowledge and expertise in the areas of developing and managing high profile projects such as exercise referral systems and developing active lifestyle programmes. You should be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills as a key part of the job is to influence and support a wide network of partners, stakeholders and health professionals to establish more effective relationships and ensure delivery on key objectives and performance management indicators. The programme is underpinned by a monitoring and evaluation system and therefore strong analytical and IT skills are essential in order to produce regular statistical evidence on performance and evaluation reports to partners and strategic groups.
It is desirable that applicants hold a current and recognised Exercise Referral Qualification such as Wrights Foundation.
