We are immensely proud of our staff and their passion, professionalism and dedication to change people’s lives. If you share that passion, if you too want to make a difference, then come and join us.

In return you will get to work with a great team, with superb training and development opportunities, and excellent staff benefits (including relocation package).

We support 62,500 patients and carers every year, serving 700,000 residents in three of the most diverse boroughs in west London plus Broadmoor in Berkshire. The diversity of the communities we serve is matched by the diversity of our staff, of whom 56% come from BME backgrounds.

We offer the most diverse range of mental health services in England: from helping young people with eating disorders; to supporting new mums suffering post natal depression; to assessing people detained under the Mental Health Act; to running high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital. We are also creating innovative new services to combine physical and mental healthcare.

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Exercise specialist to join the Physical Activity Team. Physical activity is a valued part of the daily rehabilitation programme and takes place either on our on-site gymnasiums/sports halls or in nearby community facilities

You will be a highly motivated individual who can plan and manage your own workload but also work within a variety of teams to better meet service needs. Ideally with a range of experience, you will have the ability to adapt activities and provide innovative solutions to the challenges encountered in the sphere of work.

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate personal involvement and an enthusiastic commitment to a physically active lifestyle. A degree in Sports Science/Coaching and/or qualified at REP (register of Exercise Professionals) level 4 is essential. A BACR (British Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation) Phase 4 is highly desirable, although not essential as training will be provided.
