Our client is an innovative and leading social enterprise that runs leisure facilities throughout the South West of England. They are currently looking to recruit a strong assistant manager with a fitness focus to join their site based in the heart of Devon.
Purpose of Role
To work closely with the Centre Manager and management team colleagues and directly contribute towards the management of the facility in accordance with Tone Leisure’s agreed strategy, policies and processes.
Maximising participation and customer satisfaction, by embracing the organisations’ values, brand image and by offering a creative, comprehensive programme of activities, catering for the whole community.
As part of the centre management team lead by example and act as strong role model for all staff
To take full ownership and accountability for one of the following specific business performance areas:
- Front of House and Sales
- Health and Fitness
- Dry Side Programming
- Wet Side Programming
Work in collaboration with the Leisure Facilities Manager and/or members of the Senior Management Team as required.
Person Specification
·NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) Leisure or business management qualification - Essential
·First Aid at work Qualification (or obtained during probation period) - Essential
·National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or obtained during probation period) - Essential
- Reps Leve 3 qualified (Desirable)
- GP Referral Qualified (Desirable)
- Exercise to Music (Desirable)
