A Hybrid Worker is an employee whose role can be performed remotely from a variety of alternative locations including force premises, partner organisation premises or a member of staff's home.
This role will require the post holder to travel to alternative locations on an ad hoc basis to undertake the role, travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with force policy.

Starts at £34,287 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £37,953 per annum
Salary Information
The above salary is based on a full time (37 hour) salary. If you are successful in a part time role this will be pro-rata'd to reflect your working hours.
Please note: Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

Job Advert Description
PURPOSE
Responsible for the provision of a professional health and wellbeing service relating to fitness, exercise and rehabilitation within Devon & Cornwall Police, whilst holding Forcewide responsibility for, and having oversight of, management of exercise facilities (including gyms) and the Force fitness tests (including the quasi-management of the divisional Health & Fitness Leaders) and exercise rehabilitation programme. In addition, acts as a lead for Health and Wellness promotion contributing to the Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively manages and oversees all aspects of the training, fitness, Exercise & sports facilities, and pitches for Devon & Cornwall Police; conducting regular health & safety checks, risk assessments and ensuring Force procedure is in place.
Delivery of induction for gym users, taking into account specific needs of the individual, together with the design of personal fitness programmes for officers and staff. Training of Fitness Leaders to undertake local gym inductions.
Holds responsibility for the management and oversight of the Force fitness testing matters (and failures), including the swimming test, ensuring compliance with the Force and National Standards, as appropriate, and developing / implementing changes to policy and working practice as a result of changes in national guidance. Training of Fitness Leaders to deliver approved fitness tests.
Supports Recruitment and Selection matters by overseeing the Force recruitment related fitness and swimming tests.
