You will have:

A record of publication e.g. conference papers, journal articles and client reports.

Evidence of income generation e.g. a good track-record in attracting research grants or consultancy in the field of physical activity.

Ideally you will also have:

Been submitted in REF 2014.

Experience of researching or evaluating community-based physical activity and health programmes.

Membership of a professional organisation with relevant accreditation e.g. BASES or BPS.

If you are offered this post you will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service. A criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from working at Sheffield Hallam University but its relevance to the duties of the post will need to be assessed before the appointment is confirmed.

For non-EU applicants, we are unlikely to be able to offer a certificate of sponsorship for this job (unless you are switching from a student visa), so you should only apply if you already have unrestricted permission to work in the UK.
