With effect from 1st January 2015 points 1,2 and 3 on AfC Pay Band 1 and Pay Band 2 will be adjusted to £15,350 to reflect the incorporation of the living wage

Public Health Wales is entering an exciting phase as it focuses more closely on influencing the settings that affect people’s lives to improve population health and tackle health inequalities.

In adopting a stronger emphasis on implementing a multi-agency systems approach, we are expanding our team to develop a culture of collaboration and specialist resource.

Consequently we are seeking to recruit three Senior Health Promotion Practitioners. Each role will support several aspects of the health improvement work at a national level and will require a degree of flexibility to cover the breadth of work that the relevant team is involved in delivering.

There is one post available in each of the Division's three teams.

Team 1: Healthy and Well Communities; Mental Wellbeing; Health and Work

Team 2: Healthy NHS; Tobacco Control; Substance Misuse

Team 3: Early Years; Educational Settings; Nutrition and Obesity; Physical Activity
