Job Summary: This is a research position for a project funded by the NIH. The goal of the project is to examine the effects of an afterschool physical activity program on brain and cognition among children.

Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of a physical activity based after school program which takes place at Campus Recreation Center East, completing paperwork and reports pertaining to the program, and delegating responsibilities as needed. Recruitment of new participants for the study.

Qualifications:
Required: Bachelors Degree
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology or related field

Preferences:
Required: Extensive experience with children, proven leadership skills, experience with implementing a physical activity based intervention for children
Preferred: Experience in leading or managing a physical activity program in a group setting

Training:
Required: Prior knowledge and training in physical activity interventions for children.

Knowledge:
Required: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred: Working knowledge of heart rate monitoring technology
