An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an innovative new programme. b-you is a one year health referral pilot working in partnership with GP practices from across Derby, to address health inequalities through a unique personalised offer of motivational interviewing, physical activity, nutrition and behaviour change.

As the b-you Co-ordinator you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of the b-you programme, managing the team of b-you Advisors and supporting patients referred to the programme to make positive and sustained lifestyle choices. You will have experience of managing a health delivery programme and supporting individuals on a one to one basis to make positive lifestyle changes. You will also be able to deliver effective nutritional support and develop personal training plans for sedentary individuals and groups.

You will have a health and physical activity degree, a Level 1/2 Motivational Interviewing qualification and working knowledge of behaviour change theory and practice. Equally you will have the ability to inspire and motivate other people to make changes through your excellent communication skills.
