There's never been a more exciting time to work in Bucks Sport. Building on strong foundations, we have a great team, a committed partnership and a vibrant volunteer network. With our London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic legacy programme beginning to gather momentum and extensive development programmes, we are well placed to achieve our aims to widen access, increase participation and improve levels of performance in all aspects of sport and physical activity.

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our team to cover maternity leave for one year, taking the lead on our Physical Activity programmes. These include a contract with the Department of Health, the Active Lifestyles programme for Bucks County Council and Reactivate Bucks, an exciting campaign designed to promote partner activities and opportunities to encourage more active and healthy lifestyles.

You will need to be passionate about the power of sport, have strong management, communication and organisational skills as well as a good working knowledge of physical activity and/or sports development. Experience of successfully promoting sports or physical activity with a range of partner organisations would be an advantage.

Your role will be county-wide, so you will need to be mobile and good IT skills will also be of benefit.

This post is subject to an enhanced CRB check.
