Following the awarded £4.645m in funding from the Department for Transport to improve sustainable transport in the city over the next four years from the government's Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF).

Building on York's history of sustainable transport successes and the recent Cycling City programme, our LSTF programme, now to be known as Intelligent Travel York, will deliver a step change in transport provision.

The programme will deliver an integrated programme of personal, business and school travel planning combined with targeted infrastructure enhancements to increase people's travel choices.
